Jennifer Harrison – Senior Consultant
Jennifer joined TMT Partners as a Senior Consultant in mid 2011.
Jennifer has over 20 years professional experience gained in Sydney and London including 13 years in corporate and investment banking and 7 years as a consultant, non-executive director and educator.
Jennifer started her career in corporate banking at Westpac and then moved into investment banking at UBS where she was a member of the global Media team. In 1997 she moved to London where she worked with HSBC and then Citi gaining broad analytical and transaction expertise in the M&A, debt and equity capital markets and reached senior officer status managing a team of 15 junior bankers.
In 2003, whilst still in London, Jennifer embarked on a successful “portfolio career” which has included the following roles:
- Consultant Director at Cavendish Corporate Finance, a London based mid-market M&A specialist
- Non-Executive Director of Wesley-Barrell Limited, a UK manufacturer and retailer of bespoke home furnishings
- Business Angel investing directly in early stage consumer-facing businesses
- Financial Training Consultant and Chief Learning Officer within the professional education sector, and
- Adjunct Faculty at Macquarie University’s Applied Finance Centre specialising in corporate finance.
Jennifer holds Bachelor of Economics (double major in Accounting and Economics) and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degrees from the University of Sydney. She is a candidate for the Masters of Applied Finance degree at Macquarie University and is also pursuing the CFA® charter. She is a member of the Australian Shareholders’ Association.
