David Rampa
Senior Adviser, Corporate Finance
David began his TMT career as a graduate trainee with NCR Computers in Australia. From NCR David moved to BHA Computers, leading their database solutions group in Europe and SE Asia.
In the 90’s, David joined Telstra to lead its Enhanced Distribution Channel program in Queensland and, subsequently, its Corporate and International division in the State. Moving to Sydney in 1995 David went on to lead Telstra’s international MNC sales, including representing Telstra as a Director of WorldPartners (a consortium of 18 leading global Telco’s) and also as the Deputy Chairman of the Australian Service Provider Association.
In the early 2000’s, David took up the position of Director Wholesale and International with SingTel Optus.
Toward the mid 2000’s David left SingTel Optus to embark on the challenge of being CEO of a technology start-up, Right Party Connect, which delivered interactive voice response solutions providing next generation debt collection solutions to banks, telco’s, and collection agencies. Right Party Connect was successfully sold to Adeptra, out of the UK, to become the platform for their Asia Pacific expansion.
Based in the USA from mid 2006, David pivoted his career to venture capital investing and Investment Banking with Aleutian Capital (New York) leading their sell-side advisory. During this time, he was also President of ANZACC Mid-West (Australia, New Zealand, American Chamber of Commerce).
Returning to Australia in 2012, David continued his Investment Banking career, and has been involved in many significant M&A transactions, both as a Senior Advisor with TMT Partners as well as a board member/chairman of listed TMT entities, M2 Group Ltd and Inabox Group Ltd, respectively.
David brings a rare pedigree to TMT Partners where he has “walked the talk” of capital raising, acquisitions and mergers, and divestments. He is well positioned and experienced across the TMT sector to work in partnership with a company founder/CEO and Board to successfully develop and execute capital raising and M&A strategies that maximise returns for all stakeholders.
